My husband and I have been searching for the perfect home for three years since we moved to Charlotte, NC in 1998. We have been through several real estate agents since we moved here. We are extremely picky about homes and about sincerity in a real estate agent; therefore, we went through several agents before finding Deanna Slep.

Our experience with Deanna Slep has been exceptional. RE/MAX has found a rare breed with her. Although she has only been in the business a short time, she has quickly discovered the most important aspects of the job – customer service, responsiveness, and approachability.

Customer service: Deanna, from the start, has made us feel like we were her only clients. Although we obviously realize that cannot be the case, given her level of expertise. She spent several weekends in a row showing us home after home after home after home . . . Our busy schedules limited our time to look. Nevertheless, she continued to diligently find homes to show which met our ever-changing criteria. (We learned as we went that our initial criteria were not quite what we wanted.)

Responsiveness: Deanna had a resource ready at every turn of our venture. We were interested in a home that the city was going to eventually place a lean on for adding a curb and gutter system to the neighborhood. We did not know what this meant for us or whether the estimated amount disclosed would necessarily be the final amount. She had an attorney resource of hers on the line within a day, letting us know the amount estimated could increase and that we were at the mercy of the county. If she were only interested in the sale, she would have been discouraged from disclosing anything that would have prevented us from buying that house. That honest disclosure, in addition to her ability to obtain resources quickly, was a definite plus for our buying experience.

Approachability: We have been through several agents, as I have mentioned. Some of our experiences have left us feeling manipulated, pushed, pulled, ultimately making us feel like we were not in control of our decisions. Deanna, on the other hand, tried to persuade us to stay within our initial price range, although we were beginning to believe, over time, that we were looking at a price range lower than what we could afford and lower than what we could ultimately live with. Other agents we have dealt with have only tried to inch us into a price range higher than that which we felt comfortable. We always felt, with Deanna, that we were in control.

In conclusion, (oh how this sounds like a term paper), in all sincerity, one would have to know how picky the Millers are to know how important this email is to RE/MAX and to Deanna Slep, and to the Millers. We closed on our second home tonight, with Deanna Slep’s help. I have felt totally confident and comfortable with every decision upon which she has advised us. Her experience in real estate, partially because her mother is an agent and her past experience as and accountant, and an obvious over-achiever with excellent customer service skills, leads Mark and me to the conclusion that we cannot speak highly enough about her future as a real estate agent. We are definitely telling all of our friends at Microsoft, for which we both work, about our fine experience with Deanna Slep!
